Park House is a pretty little cottage in Farnham town centre that had been converted into offices in the mid-1980s. It came on the market at the end of 2016 and I bought it in January 2017 with the aim of converting it into a one bedroom home.
Listed building consent was required to make the changes necessary and planning permission was granted under permitted development. Sale of the property was held up by the down turn in the market due to Brexit issues and while waiting for things to recover I added it to my Serviced Accommodation portfolio.
The sale eventually completed at the end of August 2019, and the property is finally the cosy little home it was meant to be.
